Privacy Policy

Effective October 23, 2026

Human First Institute (โ€œweโ€, โ€œusโ€) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through humanfirstinstitute.co and our courses, how we use it, and the choices you have. Questions: info@humanfirstinstitute.co.

What we collect

  • Information you give us: your name and email when you download a free guide, join our newsletter, register for an event or buy a course or membership; anything you write to us or share in community spaces.
  • Purchase information: what you bought and when. Card and bank details are handled directly by our payment providers (Kajabi Payments, Stripe and PayPal). We never see or store your full card number.
  • Learning information: which lessons you complete, so we can track your progress and issue certificates.
  • Technical information: basic data such as your browser, device, pages visited and approximate location, collected through cookies and similar technologies, including the Meta Pixel if we run advertising.

How we use it

  • To deliver the guides, courses, membership, events and certificates you sign up for.
  • To send you the newsletter and updates you've agreed to receive. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
  • To answer your questions and provide support.
  • To understand how our site and courses are used, and to improve them.
  • To measure and show relevant advertising, for example on Facebook and Instagram.
  • To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run Human First Institute, under their own privacy and security terms. These include Kajabi (our website, course and email platform), our payment providers, and Meta for advertising measurement. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

Privacy in our courses and community

Course worksheets and reflections are designed to be completed privately, and we do not collect what you write in downloadable worksheets. In community sessions, please don't share identifying details about other people or institutions. We do not share anything you say in a session outside it.

How long we keep it

We keep your information for as long as you have an account or subscription with us, and afterward only as long as needed for legal, tax or accounting reasons.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live (including under Canadian, UK and EU data protection law), you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to withdraw consent. To make a request, email info@humanfirstinstitute.co. You can unsubscribe from emails at any time, and you can control cookies through your browser settings.

International transfers

Our service providers may store and process information in countries other than your own, including the United States. Where that happens, they apply safeguards required by law.

Children

Our services are designed for adults in higher education and are not directed at anyone under 16.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll change the effective date above, and tell you by email if the changes are significant.
