Terms of Use

Effective October 23, 2026

These terms apply when you use humanfirstinstitute.co or buy, join or take part in anything offered by Human First Institute (β€œwe”, β€œus”). By using our site or services, you agree to them. Questions: info@humanfirstinstitute.co.

Your account

Some services need an account. Please give accurate details and keep your login private. Your account is for you alone: please don't share it.

Purchases and prices

Prices are shown in US dollars at checkout and may change, though a change never affects something you have already bought. Payments are processed securely by our payment providers. Any applicable taxes are shown at checkout.

Courses

When you buy a single course, you get access to it for as long as we offer it on our platform. If we ever retire a course, we'll give you reasonable notice and a chance to download your materials.

Human First Community Membership

  • Membership is billed once a year and renews automatically at the then-current price unless you cancel.
  • You can cancel any time from your account settings. Cancelling stops future renewals, and you keep access until the end of the year you've paid for.
  • Members get access to every Human First course and to members-only community events while their membership is active. Course access through membership ends when the membership ends.
  • We'll tell you in advance about any change to the membership price before it applies to your renewal.

Refunds

See our Refund Policy.

Using our content

All course videos, worksheets, guides and other materials belong to Human First Institute or Dr Saud Taj. They're for your personal, non-commercial use. Please don't copy, resell, share or publish them, or use them to train AI systems, without our written permission. You're welcome to share our free guides with colleagues as long as you keep them intact and credit us.

Certificates

Certificates confirm that you completed a Human First Institute course. They are not an academic qualification, credit or professional accreditation.

Community and events

Our community spaces work because people treat each other with respect. Please be kind, keep what others share confidential, don't name individuals or institutions in discussions, and don't harass, advertise or spam. We may remove anyone who doesn't follow these rules, without a refund in serious cases.

Not professional advice

Our courses, guides and community offer learning, reflection and peer support. They are not therapy, medical, legal, financial, immigration or employment advice, and we don't guarantee jobs, promotions or other outcomes. Please seek qualified professional help where you need it. If you're in crisis, contact local emergency services.

Our responsibility

We work hard to keep our services accurate and available, but we provide them β€œas is” and can't promise they'll always be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. We'll change the effective date above and tell you by email if the changes are significant. Continuing to use our services after an update means you accept the new terms.
